Peachtree Protective Covers: Blog

Reaching New Heights

The owners of High Point Climbing and Fitness located in Chattanooga, TN discuss their passion for climbing and their reason for turning a hobby into a profitable business.  Peachtree was fortunate enough to be a part of this expansive project that turned an old movie theater into one of the largest climbing facilities in the United States.  Designing the extruded aluminum structural skeleton for the translucent blue 3Form Koda XT panels provided an opportunity for Peachtree to showcase both our engineering prowess and extensive manufacturing capabilities.  Click the link below to visit the project profile.

Supporting Local Area Charities

Recently, a few members of Peachtree’s team took part in Batson-Cook Construction’s 12th annual “Clays for a Cause” charity sporting clays tournament.  The event hosted over 550 people and was held at Big Red Oak Plantation in Gay, Georgia.  In 2017, the event raised $184,000 for two charities; Loving Arms Cancer Center of Marietta, Georgia and Russell County Child Advocacy Center of Phenix City, Alabama.  Since their founding in 2006, “Clays for a Cause” has raised $1,307,000 for six different charities.  Peachtree has contributed to this event for the past four years and is proud to be a part of such a worthy cause.  Granted, no one on our team finished as a top shooter, however we still had a great time interacting with members of local Atlanta businesses and the fellowship that ensues with such an event.
